Jo Waite

Jo Waite is a full-time artist working from her studio north of Sydney. Focusing predominately on urban landscapes,
Jo loves to depict scenes that are familiar to us all, and as such evoke a strong connection to the viewer. She loves to create the scenes
she paints with precision and a meticulous commitment to recording even the smallest details.
As a result, her paintings leave viewers with the opportunity to discover new details
each and every time they view them. Though considered a realist painter, she enjoys a painterly approach to her work and
considers herself extremely lucky that she gets to “work” at this job every day.
