Ferdinand Bauer

Ferdinand Bauer, born in Feldsberg, Austria, has left the world an extraordinary
legacy of many thousands of the finest botanical and zoological drawings ever
produced. The man himself remains elusive, as only a handful of letters and
a small proportion of his work has been published or exhibited.
